Since prices of individual dives are pretty much the same, it really depends on your level of experience and expectations when it comes to diving. If you are a complete novice, going to the maximum depth of 10 meters, the closest dive school in Nice will do, the staff is experienced, friendly and fluent in English.

 

If you expect little more, travel little further – at least Golfe Juan, you will be rewarded by much more exciting dive sites.

Dive school is located on the east side of Nice Port. The divers are usually taken near Villefranche sur Mer or Cap Ferrat.

2 daily departures (starting in March), one in the morning, one in the afternoon.

Discover Scuba diving, 20 minutes dive = €60, 40 minutes = €115  

Fun dives with equipment – 1 dive = €58, 3 dives = €169, 5 dives = €276

 

Chango Diving

Chango Diving is found in the corner of Port de la Darse. Young but experienced team will happily take you either diving or freediving to the nearby dive sites.

Discover Scuba Diving, 20 minutes dive = €60/ €110 for two dives. Fun dives cost also €60 per dive (all including 90 minutes on the boat). Diving is available for kids of age 10 years and older.

Small family run dive center is to be found in Golfe Juan, small town between Antibes and Cannes. The train is the best option for the transport as the dive centre is 200m from Golfe Juan-Vallauris train station.

The dive shop has an access to 20 dive sites within 15 min boat drive including Cap d’Antibes, Les Îles de Lérins and La Formigue. La Formigue is particularly interesting, it is a miniature maritime city that was constructed by French filmmakers in the 1960’s who wanted to shoot parts of their movie, L’Enfant et la Sirène -The Child and the Mermaid on a real underwater film set).

Discover scuba diving half day = €65, full day = €130.

Fun dives – €60 including equipment.
